WinterMission is just around the corner! Guided by our WinterMission statement, faculty and staff will offer fresh courses and some well-loved classics, allowing students to dive into passion projects, hands-on learning, and service to their community.
WinterMission (January 29-February 2) is a required part of Foxcroft’s curriculum, and as we plan the week, I find myself wishing I could join some of these incredible classes. Students have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of digital marketing or fundraising, sharpen their analytical skills by mastering different games from around the globe, gain fundamental D.I.Y. skills, build a business in a week, and more!
Students should complete the class selection form in their email to request their first-choice WinterMission classes (see the catalog of offerings). The deadline for class selection is December 16.
In addition to the courses, juniors and seniors can apply for several on and off-campus internships provided by businesses and organizations in the Middelburg area. Additionally, they may propose a self-designed internship experience away from school with the support of a business sponsor and supervisor. Internships offer students an opportunity to explore a field or profession of interest and the chance to grow and learn from real-world experiences. Students who have committed to a specific concentration should aim to use WinterMission as a time for an internship related to their area of study. Click here for a list of internship opportunities.
